Terms & conditions

The rules for using On Site Optical’s website, submitting order requests, and working with us on workplace safety eyewear.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the On Site Optical website and services, including browsing our catalog, placing online order requests, and participating in workplace eyewear programs. By accessing the site or submitting an order request, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit an order. For workplace programs, your employer’s program rules may also apply in addition to these Terms.

Who we are

On Site Optical (“On Site Optical,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides prescription safety eyewear and related services from Jacksonville, Florida, serving customers from Orlando to Savannah and beyond. We are rooted in Safe Lite Optical’s decades of optical manufacturing experience.

Order requests placed on this website are reviewed and fulfilled by On Site Optical.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order request. If you submit information on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

You agree to provide accurate contact, shipping, and prescription information. You are responsible for keeping that information current so we can review and fulfill your request.

Order requests (not instant checkout payment)

Products shown on the site are available for order request. Submitting a request does not create a completed sale until On Site Optical reviews and accepts it. Prices shown are estimates and may change after prescription review, lens options, shipping, or program rules are confirmed.

No card payment is collected on this website at the time of the order request. Payment arrangements, invoices, or employer billing (where applicable) are handled separately after review. We may decline or cancel a request for incomplete information, prescription issues, stock limits, or other business reasons.

Prescriptions and PD information

You are responsible for providing a valid prescription and accurate pupillary distance (PD) information, including any uploaded images. We rely on the information you submit to manufacture eyewear. Incorrect or outdated prescriptions may result in products that are not suitable for your vision needs.

We may request clarification or additional documentation before approving an order. Safety eyewear must meet applicable standards (such as ANSI Z87.1 where required); selecting the correct protection for your workplace remains your and/or your employer’s responsibility.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping rates shown at cart and checkout are based on the flat rate set in our store settings and may be confirmed when the order is accepted. Delivery times are estimates only and can vary based on lens complexity, manufacturing capacity, and carrier delays.

Risk of loss passes to you when the order is delivered to the address you provided, or as otherwise agreed for workplace program deliveries.

Website content and intellectual property

All site content — including branding, text, images, logos, and product presentations — is owned by On Site Optical or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or commercially reuse site content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting unauthorized access, uploading malicious files, submitting false order or prescription data, interfering with site operations, or using the site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access or refuse service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and information on it are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement regarding the site itself. Product warranties, if any, for manufactured eyewear will be communicated at fulfillment or in separate documentation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, On Site Optical will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim related to an order request or the site will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim (or $100 if no payment was made), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Returns and refunds

Custom prescription and safety eyewear are subject to our Returns & Refunds policy. Please review that page before placing an order request. View Returns & Refunds →

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes to pending order requests will be communicated when reasonably possible.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Florida will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the site, except where prohibited by law.
